There is nothing like knowing that you can help make someone feel special or somehow better than when they first walked in the door
I think that SJJUMC is on the right track helping those in need or less fortunate then ourselves and taking part in this helps us see just that .

Last night was just the beginning of somthing I beleave to only get bigger and better with the help of the many volenteers . brainstroming with idea's and resources that with the power of prayer and time well spent will only prove to be the beginning of somthing to get excited about and to be proud to be a part of .

For me it was great just to sit and talk to these women and to get a feel for what they might need from us and the one thing that I felt was that these women are not in toned to taking time out for themselves and that there is a great need for this kind of thing .

We all take so much for granted these days

I do look forward to being a larger part of the planning of our next Moms night

I do have a few idea's / suggestions after talking with the ladies what I hear alot of is the need for some destressing .... how about Yoga teaching some simply breathing excersize

or let the women themselves put in some suggestions in a box for furture events .

It was sad to know that we had to turn some women away after taking in 40 may I suggest that a pre -registration be required either via phone or perhaps on tuesday nights at the lords table for those interested .

Im in hopes that this is only the first of many things new and exciting for SJJUMC
